(at this point in the story, he is worn out and apprehensive) Some of the trees secrete a tempting blue sap. I find that it’s sweet. (In the demo, we really liked how you said “kinda sweet”, it really drove home that peppy, retro hero character voice) Nightfall. Something beckons me into a Grove of Sequoia. a blue light sways gently against the
breeze, waving for me to follow. Blazing threads, interwoven into spirals of dazzling iridescence gilded all my sight. Upon the ground, moonflower and Indian pipe, Cool to the touch. (Becoming more disoriented, distant. should’ve been more careful with that sap!) There is no longer a path, but a tunnel. No longer a forest, but a gleaming city of giving wonders. No longer silence, but clamoring."

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
